Role Summary

  • Execute and optimize email campaigns for customer acquisition, retention, upselling, and brand engagement.
  • Develop automated lifecycle campaigns for both UK and international markets.
  • Analyze campaign performance, seeking ways to enhance effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the brand and creative teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends by monitoring competitors and adopting best practices.

Role Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in email marketing or digital marketing with a focus on email.
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools like Klaviyo, segmentation, and flow building.
  • Understanding of DTC services, preferably in subscriptions or consumer goods.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Team player who can also independently drive projects to completion.
  • Passion for sustainability and eco-friendly initiatives.
  • French or German language skills are a plus, but not essential.

In Summary...

Email marketing is key to our growth plans and so, we’re looking for an email marketing executive to help drive forward our retention and engagement strategy over the next 9 months. The contract is for an initial 9 months, but we hope there will be an opportunity for transition to a full time position based on performance and business growth.

We're looking for confident digital marketer with experience delivering email campaigns and building email flows. We’re looking for someone with relentless attention to detail, analytical mindset and the ability to work alongside brand and growth teams.

Reporting into the Email Marketing Manager, this role will be suitable for someone with 1-2 years in an email marketing or CRM role or a wider digital marketing role including a focus on email. 
 

What does the role involve?...

Supporting in managing our ad-hoc and automated email campaigns.

Creating, building and deploying email campaigns across acquisition, loyalty, upsell, product launches and brand.

Building and optimising automated lifecycle campaigns for the UK and for our international expansion.

Reviewing and measuring email performance, continually looking for improvement and optimisation opportunities.

Monitoring competitors to learn best practices and benchmarking.

Working collaboratively with brand and creative teams to land brand campaigns and ensure all activity is on brand.

You will need/be...

Experienced in email marketing or digital marketing roles including email. With minimum 1 year experience.

Familiar with email marketing principles, best practices and measurement.

Experience using Klaviyo or similar tools, including building emails flows and complex segmentation.

Experience in direct-to-consumer services, especially subscription or consumer goods would be ideal.

Relentless attention and focus on the detail, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Commercial, analytical mindset, bringing curiosity and a drive for results via post-campaign analysis and a command of the data. Excel experience is a plus.

Able to multitask, work at speed, and be comfortable in a startup environment.

Able to work both independently but is also a team player, naturally able to work with design, marketing and growth teams.

Passionate about working in a startup environment and driving eco-friendly sustainable lifestyles for everyone.

French or German language skills are a bonus, but not required.

Applicants must have current work authorisation in the UK.

Being on our remote team, you will primarily be working from home in this role, but the team does meet up regularly (1-2 x month), so the ability to travel to London and South-East is ideal.
