The Museum is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Officer to support the delivery of the Review’s security recommendations and strategic action plans. Objectives include the development of services, operations, and procedure documents and delivery of security compliance requirements. You will work effectively with a range of stakeholders and skilfully execute multiple projects while adhering to tight deadlines.

Key areas of responsibility: Deliver the objectives of the Security Strategy and Annual Security Plan. Prepare appropriate reports for key stakeholders including the Trustees Board, and Audit Risk and Compliance Committee. Conduct reviews of security, functions and controls that are components of the Security Strategy and compliance controls. Support delivery of the Security Recommendations arising from the 2023 review of Collection Security and Security Services. Support delivery of other corrective action recommendations identified by on-going Internal Audits of security themes and services. Research, prepare and promote guidance, procedures and work instructions for matters supporting security resilience and protection of the Museum and Collection.

About you: Diploma or NVQ in security technology or services management. Proven relevant security experience at middle management level. Experience in security technology project management, installation and service administration. Professional experience in cultural venues or places of large assembly. Strong people management skills. Able to build effective relationships across the organisation.
