Role Summary:

  • Support the procurement and management of high-value contracts.

  • Keen attention to detail and a positive approach to problem-solving.
  • Must be able to undergo a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Right to work in the UK, with necessary documentation.

The role of Contracts and Procurement Officer sits within the Governance department and is part of the Legal, Contracts and Procurement Team. You will support the procurement and contract management of high-value contracts and also lead on reporting content and process for large Government contracts. This role is vital in ensuring the success of these complex contracts and is instrumental in driving the reporting process to ensure strong and effective reports are provided to funders.

We are looking for someone with excellent verbal and written communications with proven ability to communicate across audiences. Experience of building and managing relationships at a senior level and with sensitivity is essential. You should have experience of monitoring delivery and helping to hold individual area leads to account. Excellent organisational, prioritisation, planning and time management skills are required, along with a great attention to detail and a positive approach to problem solving.
