Role Summary:

  • Lead the charge in detecting and responding to cyber threats.
  • Drive security initiatives and implement best practices to protect the organization.
  • Manage and enhance various security frameworks, controls, and governance.
  • Conduct audits and maintain security accreditations.

Role Requirements:

  • Solid experience in managing security incidents in a high-availability enterprise environment.
  • Proficiency in on-premise and cloud solutions, along with InfoSec & Cyber Security frameworks.
  • A track record of developing strategies and implementing security frameworks.
  • Experience with managing audits and accreditations such as Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO27001, ISO22301, and penetration testing.

As Information & Cyber Security Manager, you will be part of a growing IT Infrastructure & Operations team. Your role will be focused on detecting attacks against a backdrop of an ever-advancing cyber threat landscape. You will report to the Head of IT Infrastructure & Operations and play a key role in enhancing our InfoSec and Cyber Security stance. Your responsibilities include identifying and executing security initiatives to safeguard the Charity from security threats and cyber-attacks. You will also be tasked with implementing best practices in security controls, governance, and processes.

We are looking for someone with experience in managing InfoSec & Cyber Security incidents within a large enterprise 24/7 operational business, including on-premise, public and private cloud solutions. You should have a high-level understanding of InfoSec & Cyber Security frameworks, with a proven track record of developing a strategy and implementing a framework. You should also have experience in managing audits and accreditations such as Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO27001, ISO22301, penetration testing etc.
