What will you be doing?
The role will involve
Supporting with the technical side of the website to ensure it runs smoothly, Advising the charity on user experience and accessibility, Working closely with the Website Manager and CEO to carry out audits of our website and suggest improvements to the navigation design and user experience, Collaborating with the Website Manager to continue improving the website's performance, Updating the CEO on the website's performance.
What are we looking for?
An enthusiastic volunteer to join our busy team who will take ownership of managing the Charity's website and keeping it up to date. Skills and experience
Volunteers with an interest in education, particularly the transformative impact of inclusive Relationships and Sex Education. Experience as a Web Developer or similar role, Familiarity with Squarespace, Understanding of web design principles, user experience, and SEO best practice, Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team,
We are looking for people to commit to 1-2 hours a week.
What difference will you make?
Volunteers play a key role in raising awareness of the charity's work, and help bust myths and taboos around sex, relationships, bodies, and health. By helping us improve our website, you will help us reach new stakholders, such as teachers, donors, and funders.
