The role: As an IT Apprentice, you will work closely with the IT Manager in a hybrid role, providing first-line IT support and assisting with various IT tasks. This includes setting up laptops and accounts for new starters, managing devices and software licenses, and learning to diagnose and resolve technical issues. You will also help maintain documentation and work on internal IT projects to improve workflows and productivity. The role requires collaboration across departments to enhance operational systems and support.
Job requirements: You should be humble, empathetic, and motivated to make a positive impact. A curiosity about technology and AI, proactive problem-solving skills, and good communication are essential. You should have some exposure to technical concepts and experience with modern collaboration tools. This apprenticeship will involve 80% on-the-job work and 20% training as part of a Level 3 IT Solutions Technician standard.
