    • Experience in office administration and facilities management.

The People and Organizational Development (POD) Department at WaterAid Ghana, under the leadership of the HPOD, is pivotal in enhancing operational efficiency and creating a positive work environment. This department, central to business support, covers a broad spectrum of responsibilities including administration, transportation, security, HR, staff welfare, procurement, and logistics.

The Procurement Officer role is pivotal within the Country Program (CP), directly aligning with our objectives to deliver high-quality, impactful programming. This job exists to streamline the CP's systems and processes for both local and international procurement of goods and services, thereby ensuring the seamless flow of operations essential for the success of our initiatives.

To be successful, you'll need to meet the following criteria. A university degree in Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field in the Social Sciences. A minimum of 3 years in a procurement role, preferably within an international NGO environment. Demonstrated experience in managing procurement processes, strategic sourcing, and vendor/contractor evaluation to ensure value and efficiency. Experience in office administration and facilities management.
