The role - As a Planner, your overall purpose will be to create fundraising strategies across a variety of disciplines including acquisition, retention, legacy, events, and innovation. You will build strong relationships with our charity clients, helping to open new opportunities and inspire sector-leading creative ideas. You will be responsible for recommending, executing, and interpreting relevant research strategies that ensure evidence-based strategies. You will also take ownership of allocated charity clients and projects, suggesting ways forward and spotting proactive opportunities.
Job requirements - The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of the fundraising sector or direct response marketing more broadly. This may be from time spent in a fundraising team or an agency with expertise in fundraising or direct response marketing. Key skills required include strategic thinking, flexible thinking and problem solving, communication, creativity, and organisational skills.
