Role Summary

The GOOD Agency are looking for an experienced fundraising copywriter. The core purpose of this role is to create and craft emotive and effective fundraising campaigns.
The role: Create ideas, messaging and full copy across all media channels for client work. Ensure the work stirs the soul in meeting the creative brief. Proofread copy thoroughly. Present concepts and ideas confidently and persuasively. Act as a problem-solver and provide proactive recommendations for clients. Make amendments, revise or redevelop ideas to incorporate client feedback. Understand and write variable copy tailored to different audience groups. Keep up to date with innovations and be part of the agency’s knowledge base on the latest published thinking on copy, trends and case studies.
Business development: Keep up to date and be familiar with our clients’ products and services, their target audience and competitor activity. Proactively seek additional business opportunities and revenue streams with additional and potential clients. Be a recognisable figure to clients who inspires confidence and quality.
Communication: Strong writing, listening, and verbal communication skills. Maintain workplace professionalism at all times. Create a positive first impression. Build constructive relationships with agency colleagues. Display strong attention to detail. Manage upwards, sideways and down – keeping all parties in the loop and driving action where necessary. Demonstrate enthusiasm to learn soft skills from senior colleagues.
