Marshmallow is a company that was founded with the mission to provide fair insurance prices for people who move to the UK. We use technology to serve people that are often overlooked by financial services companies, solving important problems for people who need it most. We are proud of the culture we've created, pushing for progress every day and encouraging our team to take ownership of their work. We are looking for more people to join us in tackling the challenges ahead.

The role you will be filling is part of the New Business Team, which is at the heart of everything we do. This team is responsible for understanding our customers’ needs, assisting them in finding the most suitable policy plans, and acting as the bridge between customer expectations and our commercial goals. As a Team Coach, you will be involved in hiring and operational set-up of the team, plus helping to expand in the future whilst acting as the number 2 to the Team Lead. You’ll help manage the day-to-day operations of a team of executives, while also helping us iterate our customer-facing and internal processes.

Job requirements include 2+ years relevant experience in a commercial sales, retention or similar target-driven customer-facing environment working with clear targets, experience coaching or training others to achieve their goals, and a strong understanding of sales KPIs and performance metrics. You should also be adept with tech systems such as CRM, WFM tools, voip telephony, live chat and email.

Benefits of working with us include the opportunity to be a key part of a newly formed team and leadership unit responsible for building and growing this new customer operations team across our London & Budapest sites. You will also have the chance to contribute to the setting of the team’s strategic goals, plus involvement in initiating and overseeing changes that benefit our customers, teammates and the company.

Please note, due to the nature of this role regular ‘out of hours’ work will be required. We are an inclusive company and encourage everyone to apply for our open roles. We process job applications without judgement, prejudice or bias.
