Role SummaryDirect ownership of the sales process from initial outreach to qualification, setting the stage for successful sales engagements.Coordinate with the Account Executive (AE) Team to cultivate BeZero's client base and schedule meetings with potential clients.Utilize platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator to research and engage new leads.Achieve and surpass monthly sales metrics.Become a trusted advisor in the sustainability domain, serving both the supply and buy sides.Help refine our go-to-market strategies in collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams.

Role Requirements1-3+ years of B2B sales experience; ClimaTech background is a plus.A proven top performer with a record of exceeding quotas.Ambitious, with a 'hunter' mindset, who excels at written and verbal communication.Quick learner who can apply new concepts to various scenarios.Strong analytical, communication, and listening skills with a positive attitude.Adaptability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced office environment.An inclusive team player who values diversity and does not shy away from any job responsibilities.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Owning the sales funnel from initial outreach through qualification (you set the foundation for the sales engagement)
  • Setting meetings and qualifying sales-ready opportunities for the AE Team
  • Working with AE Teams to identify the next wave of BeZero clients within target accounts
  • Work with Senior Sales Leadership and the AE Team to learn the foundation for a successful sales career
  • Discovering new leads through research, social media monitoring/messaging, using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, X (formally Twitter), etc.
  • Achieving, and exceeding, monthly metrics (meetings, qualified opportunities, etc.)
  • Learning to become a trusted advisor to decision-makers in the sustainability space (Supply-Side and Buy-Side)
  • Collaborating with Sales and Marketing to optimize our go-to-market strategy and tactics

Who You Are:

  • You have 1-3+ years of B2B sales experience; ClimaTech is a big bonus
  • You’re in the top 5% in terms of performance against quota and have the track record to back it up
  • You’re a tenacious hunter who strives for excellence in everything you do
  • You love to write and are great at communicating complex messages in simple ways
  • You’re able to grasp new concepts quickly and apply them to a broad range of situations
  • You have strong communication, analytical, and listening skills, with a positive approach
  • You’re comfortable in a fast-paced, high-energy, in-office environment
  • The words “not my job” are not in your vocabulary
