Volunteer Community Fundraiser

What will you be doing?

HOW CAN YOU HELP APART OF ME?

Develop and execute a creative and engaging community fundraising plan to raise awareness and generate revenue for the charity. Cultivate relationships with local businesses, organisations and other community groups to generate interest in our cause.  Hold events with community groups, small businesses and schools to raise awareness, engage local volunteers and ambassadors, and encourage donations.  Work closely with the Marketing team to create collateral to promote Apart of Me in the community.  Track, report and evaluate fundraising activity, income and spend to assess community impact and ensure efficient use of resources.

What are we looking for?

Demonstrable experience of fundraising in the community through innovative campaigns and events. Knowledge of fundraising principles, techniques and best practices. Experience of coordinating and motivating volunteers. Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Resourceful and a creative thinker - able to seek solutions to problems. Financially astute - able to plan and manage budgets.

The most important attribute will be a passion for our cause and the desire to help young people who have experienced loss and trauma.
