- Role Summary:
- Develop and refine test plans, scenarios, and cases.
- Execute manual testing for product stability and performance.
- Design test cases that can be automated and liaise with the Automation team.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of Lodgify's application and codebase.
- Ensure software quality, including reliability, usability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Manage communication throughout the sprint/release cycle.
- Document, track, and report bugs and issues.
- Assess and improve QA processes and methodologies.
- Work closely with the Product Manager.
- Role Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer.
- Fluency in English for reading, writing, and understanding technical documentation.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and the software testing lifecycle.
- Proficiency in API testing (e.g., Postman) and understanding of client-server architecture.
- Attention to detail in test execution and defect reporting.
- Problem-solving abilities and a results-driven approach.
- End-user empathy and grasp of business strategy.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with internet concepts and tools such as HTTP, cookies, HTML, CSS, Jira, and Test Management Tools.

⭐️ Role Overview
At Lodgify, we are looking for a talented Manual QA Engineer to join our growing team. We are constantly working to improve our software and its features. A skilled QA Engineer will be not only a great contribution to that but also a key player for the QA team. You will apply your skills across the software development lifecycle to contribute to the ongoing success of the project.
⭐ How will you make an impact?
Develop, review and contribute to test plans, test scenarios and test cases Perform effective manual testing to ensure the product’s stability and performance Designing automatable test cases and act as a bridge between Automation squad by ensuring testability and automatability Build a deep understanding of the Lodgify application, as well as a strong intuition around our architecture and codebase to guide your sense for common issues that may arise Ensure the software meets all requirements of quality including reliability, usability, and performance Collaborate and work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle Own communication throughout the sprint/release cycle, quality and delivery of the entire feature Document, report and track all identified bugs, inconsistencies and issues Evaluate the efficiency of existing QA processes and recommend improvements Analyze, review and assess requirements and design specifications Work closely with the Product Manager.⭐ What makes you a great fit?
