- Develop and maintain relationships with non-Member States and international organizations.

The Role: As an External Relations Officer in the External Relations Department, you will be reporting to the Head of the External Relations Department, Directorate of Strategy, Legal and External Matters. Your tasks and responsibilities will include establishing and developing relations with non-Member States and international organisations and monitoring their space activities. You will be responsible for collecting and distributing relevant information and analysis about non-Member States and international organisations internally and drafting relevant documents for the International Relations Committee. You will propose themes for cooperation with non-Member States and international organisations and coordinate related activities within the Agency. You will also plan and organise international meetings hosted by the Agency or in which the Agency participates. You will represent the Agency, when appropriate, in meetings with non-Member States and international organisations and contribute to the negotiation of draft agreements with non-Member States and international organisations.
Job Requirements: You should have a master's in social sciences (such as political sciences, international relations or economics). You should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication (both written and verbal), presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You should have commitment, reliability and open attitude coupled with autonomy in resolving issues and meeting deadlines. You should have confirmed planning and organisational skills and capacity to efficiently manage multiple tasks in parallel. Discretion and integrity are also required.
