Role Summary:

The Role: As our Trust Manager, you will build strategic relationships with trusts new to WaterAid as well as provide first-class stewardship to develop existing trust donors. You will manage and develop your own portfolio of trust donors giving five and six figure grants. You will work with the wider Philanthropy and Trusts team, and Programmes and Policy and Campaigns Departments to build compelling proposals and reports. You will also support collaborative trust fundraising globally, working with multi-disciplinary teams across WaterAid's country offices and federation members.

Job Requirements: Demonstrable experience of developing and managing five and six figure funding relationships is required. Excellent organisational and time management skills are needed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proposals, reports and presentations are essential. Experience in handling objections and negotiating successful, mutually beneficial outcomes for internal and external relationships is needed. Experience of proposal writing, with the ability to write accurately and persuasively to develop a variety of quality donor communications is required. Excellent numeracy including experience with budgeting is needed.
