Role Summary:

  • Lead the creation of digital and blended learning experiences for teacher training and school leadership programs.

Role Requirements:

  • Experience in program and instructional design, particularly with blended learning approaches.

  • Confidence in learning and supporting others with new technologies.
  • Successful collaboration with tech teams and proactive problem-solving skills.

As a Digital Learning Consultant, you will lead on ensuring programme teams are creating effective digital and blended learning for our teachers and leaders, and those that support them. The Digital Learning team ensures that Teach First’s programmes all use the very best digital learning techniques and tools available to deliver our programmes. The team sits within the Design department, which focuses on building highly effective teacher training and school leadership programmes.

Job requirements include experience of programme and instructional design, including programmes delivered using a blended approach, expert knowledge of what makes good learning and how different outcomes can be achieved effectively online using technology, a proven record of designing experiences that have a high quality user experience and experience of digital course creation on a variety of systems and training of others in course development. You should also be able to demonstrate proven, successful collaborations with technology teams to test, integrate and develop learning technology solutions, work calmly under pressure, managing multiple projects at one time to tight deadlines, and work proactively within a team to understand curriculum requirements, as well as being able to work independently with confidence and demonstrate the ability to learn new technology quickly and to support others in doing so.

Having a criminal conviction will not necessarily exclude you from appointment. This role is based within the UK. Teach First has a responsibility to ensure that every employee has the legal right to work in the UK. Every employee is required to supply the appropriate documents to prove that they have the right to work in the UK before and where applicable throughout their employment with Teach First.
