Volunteer CEO of Chronic Illness charity

What will you be doing?

Chronically Marvellous is motivated by making a difference to the lives of people with chronic illnesses. As CEO, you will: Along with the Trustees/Directors, you will provide clear leadership, strategic direction and management for the Charity, its employees and volunteers. Have an open-door for all staff and volunteers, to liaise and engage with them to obtain feedback on how the charity is run. Assist in fundraising where needed, being the 'face' of the organisation for events, meetings, and other activities. Work with the Trustees/Directors, Accountant, and finance committee ensure good governance of the organisation. Oversee the work done by our Counsellors, Project Managers, Marketing, and Volunteer teams. Help to increase the Charity's profile, reach and influence.   Safeguarding.

What are we looking for?

This role is for you if: You have experience in a senior or leadership role within the charity sector, or transferable skills from other industries. You’re ambitious and excited about driving growth and supporting your team to do so. You have excellent relationship building, communication and networking skills. You have experience managing and motivating a team. You're a self-starter and happy to make things happen
