The role you'll be filling is within the New Business Team. This team is here to understand our customers’ needs, assist them in finding which of our policy plans are most suitable and act as the bridge between customer expectations and our commercial goals. You'll be involved in hiring and operational set-up of the team, plus helping to expand in the future whilst acting as the number 2 to the Team Lead. You’ll help manage the day-to-day operations of a team of executives, while also helping us iterate our customer-facing and internal processes.

We are looking for someone that has leadership skills via exposure to training others, mentoring or leading a small team and will relish the challenge of working with leaders from across Marshmallow to strengthen and scale this team and set us up for future growth.

Job requirements include 2+ years relevant experience in a commercial sales, retention or similar target-driven customer-facing environment working with clear targets, experience coaching or training others to achieve their goals, and a strong understanding of sales KPIs and performance metrics.

Please note, due to the nature of this role regular ‘out of hours’ work will be required. To meet our regulatory obligations as an FCA-authorised financial services company, we need to do some background checks on all new hires. That means carrying out a DBS check and making sure you don't have any live criminal proceedings.
