About Marshmallow We started Marshmallow when we found out how unfair insurance prices are for people who move to the UK. We saw an opportunity to do things differently, so we made it our mission to back the ones who step outside the norm. We serve people that are often overlooked by financial services companies, solving important problems for people who need it most.

The Role As a Learning and Development Manager, you will identify training needs, create industry-leading programmes, facilitate training sessions and workshops, manage our Learning Experience Platform (LXP), collaborate with our managers to create an onboarding experience, ensure that all mandatory compliance and regulatory training requirements are met, and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.

Job Requirements We're looking for someone with experience in the identification, design and delivery of skill-based programmes, facilitation skills to deliver engaging workshops and webinars, proficiency in building and managing a learning management system and other authoring tools such as e-learning, strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects and stakeholders, and data analysis skills to assess training needs, evaluate programme effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions.

Benefits We offer hybrid working, a competitive bonus scheme, a flexible benefits budget, sabbatical leave, work from anywhere for 4 weeks, mental wellbeing support, personal budgets for books and training courses, private health care, a medical cash plan, a tech scheme, and 33 days holiday. We also have a pension and cycle-to-work scheme, monthly team socials and company-wide socials every month!

Application Details Our process includes an initial call with one of our Talent Acquisition team, a skill-based interview with our L&D director, and a culture interview with our Chief People Officer.

Additional Information We need to do some background checks on all new hires to meet our regulatory obligations as an FCA-authorised financial services company. This includes carrying out a DBS check and making sure you don't have any live criminal proceedings.
