Role Summary
- Oversee inventory accounting and reporting in all One Acre Fund operational countries
- Manage team members and foster inter-departmental collaboration
- Lead inventory-related book closes on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Work with the FP&A team to provide accurate finance information relating to inventory and COGS
- Head the enhancement of systems and processes around inventory management and reporting
Role Requirements
- At least 5 years’ experience in inventory accounting or a similar field
- Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification
- Experience with International Financial Reporting frameworks (IFRS or US GAAP)
- Proficiency in Excel, including the use of complex functions
- Rwandan citizenship or permanent resident status is a must

The Role As an Inventory Reporting Associate, you will oversee inventory accounting and reporting across all countries of One Acre Fund's operations. You will ensure accurate and compliant accounting records, manage team members, and foster collaboration across departments. This role is based in Kigali, Rwanda and requires on-site presence.
Job Requirements - 5+ years of experience in inventory accounting or a related field. - Degree in Accounting, Business, or related area. - CPA, ACCA, or similar certification required. - Experience with International Financial Reporting frameworks (IFRS or US GAAP). - Proficient in Excel, including complex functions.
Responsibilities - Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual books close for inventory accounting. - Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and financial reporting standards. - Coordinate end-of-period processes related to inventory. - Work with the FP&A team to produce accurate financial information regarding inventory & COGS. - Improve processes and systems around inventory management and reporting.
