The role of Policy Officer is crucial in developing and advocating for policy change, one of the four pillars of our new organisational 2030 strategy. Over the next six years, our ambition is to ensure schools have the tools and resources they need to ensure every child fulfils their potential. This is an exciting time to join a growing and ambitious policy team and is an excellent opportunity for someone to take leadership on core elements of the organisation’s priorities. You will work closely with our Head of Policy, supporting the delivery our policy strategy and building thriving networks who inform and support this work.

We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to tackling inequality in education, experienced at providing policy analysis and advice in a clear, concise and compelling manner. You should have an engaging communication style with the ability to motivate and engage busy people. Experience in establishing and growing networks and coalitions to influence policy is essential, as is experience writing policy briefings or reports. Experience working with data sets, including data analysis and presentation to multiple audiences, and policy experience gained in a political or policy role at a charity or think tank is also required.
