Teach First is committed to building a fair education for all, unlocking the potential in all children – not just some. Our work takes us closer to a better future every day, but we need your help to take on this big challenge.

The role of the Networks Manager is integral to the delivery of our Networks. You’ll work with a team of Network Managers and Network Officers, and a wider Community Team to optimise the potential of our movement. Networks are central to the ‘Powerful Movement’ pillar of Teach First’s 2030 strategy. They enable us to achieve scale through depth; convening both programme members and ambassadors around a shared interest, need or commonality whilst inspiring them to take tangible action for our mission for all children to meet their potential.

Job requirements include fostering productive relationships at scale and developing community engagement through networks or otherwise. You should have highly developed verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively and confidently, including to senior stakeholders. You should be able to quickly build effective relationships and are confident at influencing as part of these. You should have a well-established, existing network across the ambassador community and evidence that you can leverage a high volume of relationships with stakeholders over time, whilst seeking opportunities to make new connections. You should be continuously looking for ways to improve, and have experience of developing or updating effective systems and processes. You should be able to multi-task effectively, working on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt well to change. You should be able to collaborate with others to create a positive work culture and effect change.

Benefits include 27 days holiday per annum, participation in the pension scheme via Salary Exchange (with an employer contribution of up to 6%), life assurance, income protection and private healthcare. Through our flexible benefits platform access to subsidised dental membership, health screening, discounted gym membership, travel insurance, Give As You Earn and the option to buy annual leave.

To apply, complete an application on our careers website. Make sure you’ve got your CV and cover letter showing how you meet our essentials ready to upload. We expect interviews to take place on and from 3rd May 2024.
