The King's Trust is dedicated to creating a brighter future for the next generation. We focus on engaging young people in our programs, ensuring they are onboarded safely and stylishly. Our mission is to identify and remove barriers that hinder their success, helping them achieve remarkable outcomes. As a Youth Development Lead, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one support and guidance to young people, managing their travel expenses, and coordinating with employers and partners like job centres to ensure seamless support.
The role involves delivering employability sessions directly to young people and assisting our delivery partners and volunteers in doing the same, both in-person and virtually via MS Teams. You will also be responsible for maintaining meticulous records to comply with our funding contracts and advocating for Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion by implementing local action plans.
We offer a range of benefits including a great holiday package, flexible working arrangements, a benefits platform, and personal development opportunities through our various networks. The role requires a combination of office days and working from home, with the necessity to travel for program delivery or visits.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We conduct basic disclosure checks for all roles, and enhanced checks for roles working directly with young people. We are an equal opportunity employer and strongly encourage applications from diverse backgrounds.
