At WWF, our social media channels are an important part of reaching new and existing supporters. As Social Media Manager we want you to help us cut through busy social media feeds with bold, impactful and diverse stories, inspiring people to care deeply about our world and our work to protect it.

As part of the role, you’ll need to develop and deliver a range of social media plans across different platforms and campaigns. You will get involved in social media moderation and community management and help build the capacity of colleagues to ensure we maximise our social media presence. You will deliver regular reporting covering social media channel and content performance too.

You will also bring creative and exciting ideas to find new ways of storytelling. You’ll need to be able to work with a wide range of internal stakeholders around the organisation, supporting a range of teams to bring our messaging to life.

You must have experience of delivering social media channel strategies as well as creating and delivering social media content plans. You will demonstrate the ability to understand digital communication briefs and create a strategic response to reach campaign or organisation objectives. You will also understand what content works for specific social media channels and audiences.

You will be used to managing communities and moderating social media and familiar with using social media community management systems (ideally Brandwatch) and social media listening tools. A good understanding of tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro would be beneficial.

In addition to your technical skills, you will have strong project management skills, and be a good communicator with the ability to write for digital platforms.
