- Be the finance manager or director (dependent on experience) in our purpose-driven start-up, accountable for the companies financial success.
- Design and build our streamlined finance function for efficient growth.
- Be our financial forecasting and investment planning guru.

Interested?
You must have a minimum 5 years’ experience in a comparable role(s) with responsibility for leading a finance department or significant function.
Responsibilities
· Work with investors, our fractional, non-exec to shape overall strategy and organisational roadmap from financial perspective
· Lead financial strategy, corporate finance, structuring and new business models
· Manage financial risk, and financial planning & analysis.
· Build our finance function (including our existing bookkeeper, accountants, multi-skilled core team, and finance systems).
· Design, implement and refine our financial systems, processes and procedures as we launch and scale up.
· Build financial models for new venues, and aggregate portfolio model. Lead multivariate stress testing, and make recommendations incl. treasury planning and investments.
· Lead viability and profitability assessments
· Develop a suite of corporate performance dashboard reporting
· Collaborate in wider company functions such as HR, development projects and operations scheduling.
· Oversee compliance: including. statutory submissions e.g. HMRC, pension providers and Companies House.
Required qualities and experience
· Natural and personable leadership and management
· Comfortable hiring, training and developing new employees
· Experience of a dynamic and fast-moving environment;
. Highly skilled in budgeting - organisation, operations, & projects.
· Business planning and multivariate stress testing.
· Modelling business diversification, projects and scenarios
· Building and maintaining excellent partner and supplier relationships.
· Advising on HR policy and process (e.g. reward, talent, capacity).
· Risk management
Skills, qualifications and expertise required
· Relevant, recognised UK accountancy qualifications.
· Proficient in administering enterprise resource
systems particularly accounting, cash management and workforce management, ideally including Xero, Dext and Access
· Legal and financial regulatory matters
· Intermediate to advanced user of MS Excel and proficient in MS 365 applications.
· Collaboration tools and information managemnt (incl. Monday.com and MS 365).
· Strong understanding of all corporate functions
