In mobilisation towards this objective, Founders Factory has built a global Climate Tech platform to invest in transformational technologies across key industries and international hubs. 

Located in Perth, Western Australia and investing globally, we're launching two new Accelerator programs in partnership with the Western Australian Government and global mining company, Rio Tinto. Through these programs we will fund over 72 startups over the next 3 years in areas including decarbonisation, mining tech, and nature-based solutions.

We’re looking for a Program Manager to help support the day to day running of the accelerator program. This is a unique opportunity to invest in and support category-defining startups in partnership with Founders Factory’s experienced team.

What you’ll do: 

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accelerator program operations, ensuring successful delivery and coordination of the 4-month Rio Tinto and Government of Western Australia programs, as well as a touch point for startups once they’ve joined the program. You will also plan and execute local events programming with support of our central team.

The accelerators will support up to 12 startups at any one time, and you will be required to coordinate a team of 60+ operations staff, connecting founders to our operational experts and support sessions workshops. We aim for Founders Factory to be the best platform for founders to start and grow their businesses. 

Program management:

Once a new company joins, you will partner with the startups and program team to align objectives and confirm the program of support, scheduling program meetings and ensuring the team is equipped before the program commences You will attend regular startup program meetings, identifying requirements, opportunities and problems, ensuring actions are shared post meeting with all involved You will help to manage internal resources and ensure our CRM is kept up-to-date and relevant You will manage the accelerator calendar, documentation, notes, collateral plus any other administrative task that is required for a smooth running program Help manage inbound business development requests from startups in program and within our broader alumni network Deliver our end to end local events programming, including the selection of event topics and formats, event listing and promotion, sending invitations, tracking attendance, gathering feedback, organising logistics and running things on the day of the event

What you’ll need:

1-3 years of prior experience working in a high growth startup or similar environment  Background in operations, project management and/or events You have an understanding of the challenges faced by both corporates and founders and are able to build strong relationships  You have a drive to find solutions, and a curiosity for disruptive business models and ways of working  You are not precious about roles, you’re a team player who does what it takes to get things done and you love galvanising others to work with you Based in Perth, Western Australia
