Movember is the global men’s health movement taking on three of the biggest health issues affecting men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s mental health and suicide prevention. We are seeking a passionate Financial Accountant to join our Melbourne based team.
The role The primary purpose of this role is to review the historical balance sheet restricted reserves and design a future process for ease of reconciliation, reporting and review and aligned to the impact strategy portfolios. You will work alongside our finance business partners and the Head of Financial Control. This position is being offered on a full time fixed term contract (6 months). You will have the opportunity to work flexibly, blending your time between home and our Richmond office (2 days per week on site).
Job requirements For this role, you’ll need CA/CPA/CIMA designation with at least 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar role. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills. To be able to work effectively and flexibly as part of a team, including with colleagues overseas. Proficient using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Adherence to the Movember’s values as well as possess a strong work ethic, collaborative and team spirit.
