We are seeking a dedicated volunteer director/trustee with knowledge and experience in health and social care to join us in overcoming these challenges and achieving our goals. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in navigating the healthcare and social services landscape, as well as a passion for empowering individuals with neurodevelopmental conditions. As a member of our board, you will have the opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making, provide guidance on program development, and play a key role in shaping the future direction of our organisation.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a volunteer director/trustee with a strong background in health and social care, ideally with knowledge of neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism and ADHD. The ideal candidate will possess:

Experience in navigating the health and social care sector, including understanding of relevant policies and procedures. A passion for supporting individuals with autism and ADHD, along with a commitment to promoting their well-being and empowerment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and advocate for our cause. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying funding opportunities and securing resources to support our programs and initiatives. Experience in governance or leadership roles within charitable organisations, with an understanding of trustee responsibilities and ethical guidelines.

What difference will you make?

As part of our board, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and shaping our work and strategic direction, ultimately helping us achieve our core mission of providing essential education and support to individuals and families needing more understanding of autism and ADHD. Your contribution will directly impact the lives of our beneficiaries, empowering them to better understand and manage their neurodevelopmental conditions, ultimately enhancing their quality of life. Your leadership and commitment will be instrumental in ensuring that we can continue to expand our reach and provide vital services to those who need it most.
