We are seeking a passionate, organised and driven individual to take on the role of Operations and Logistics Manager.
As the heartbeat of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of our luxury mobile tented camps, our unique refurbished modern dhow, and destination management services. Your mission will be to not only manage the logistical aspects of our operations but also to cultivate a culture of teamwork among our staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and inspire a diverse team of staff, overseeing rota scheduling, duties allocation, and staff welfare.
- Ensure the meticulous care and maintenance of equipment and facilities, guaranteeing a flawless guest experience.
- Instil a focus on sustainable ethos throughout the company and interactions
- Lead the planning, setup, and dismantling of camps and events, ensuring every detail is executed to perfection.
- Very organised and proficient at using Microsoft and google drive.
- Act as a camp manager, overseeing day-to-day operations and providing exceptional service to our guests.
- Demonstrate proficient driving skills, especially in off-road conditions, while enjoying long drives to various camp locations.
- Possess strong swimming abilities and basic first aid knowledge to ensure guest safety.
- Foster a harmonious work environment by effectively managing interpersonal dynamics and cultural diversity.
- Embrace the challenge of working in remote wilderness locations for extended periods, delivering exceptional service with resilience and enthusiasm.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the hospitality or outdoor adventure industry.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to interact confidently with diverse nationalities.
- Strong leadership qualities, with a focus on team motivation and performance enhancement.
- Proficiency in driving, particularly off-road, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to thrive in physically demanding environments and work effectively under pressure.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and a willingness to go above and beyond to exceed expectations.

Hi Darja, Sadly not as you have to be able to drive to the remote locations to build, manage and take down camps. Often you will be doing this on your own with navigation software and 80-90% will be on road and the last 20-20% off road.
