- Develop scalable Frontend solutions alongside a dedicated engineering team.
- Set new standards for Frontend Engineering in collaboration with Product and Design teams.
- Engage in cross-functional engineering efforts to enhance user interfaces.
- Competence in JavaScript and fundamental programming skills.
- Ability to mentor and improve the skillset of junior team members.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
- Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, BDD, TDD, and CI/CD methodologies.
- Understanding of accessibility best practices and Micro Frontends is beneficial.
- Experience with component libraries and Frontend Platform engineering is advantageous.
The role We are looking for a Software Engineer. In this role, you will be part of a team of engineers providing scalable Frontend solutions that enable building user interfaces across Funding Circle. Your team is in charge of creating and upholding a new standard for Front-end Engineering. Your day to day involves collaborating with the Product and Design teams as well as Engineering teams across different products.
Job requirements An engineer who is a strong fundamental programmer competent in Javascript. An engineer capable of mentoring and up-skilling more junior members of the team. Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools (ie. Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library, Chromatic). Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, BDD, TDD and CI/CD. Knowledge of accessibility best practices is a plus. Previous experience with Micro Frontends is a plus. Previous experience with component libraries for multiple products and/or Front-end Platform engineering is a plus.
