Role Summary:
- Manage and lead a team of six consent order drafters and three associates.
- Maintain responsibility for the quality and efficiency of consent order drafting.
- Collaborate with divorce specialists to uphold our core mission of delivering excellent service.
- Handle your own workload of consent order documents alongside team management duties.
Role Requirements:
- Background in family law with experience in drafting financial remedy orders and team management.
- Exceptional accuracy and impeccable attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Self-motivated with strong planning and accountability for team and personal workloads.
- Effective communication skills to manage various styles and team dynamics.
- Proactive approach to identifying and improving inefficiencies and risks.
- Resilient, with excellent problem-solving, adaptability, and emotional intelligence.
- Fluent in English with the right to work in the UK.

The role As a Consent Order Drafting Team Lead at amicable, you will report to the Head of Operations and will manage a team of six consent order drafters and three associates. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of our core mission through the efficient drafting of consent orders and liaison with our divorce specialists. Apart from leading a team, you will have your own workload of consent order documents.
Job requirements •Family law background, experience of drafting financial remedy orders and managing a team, •Exceptional level of accuracy and attention to detail, •Strong organisational skills and ability to check details to ensure accuracy and efficiency, •Self-motivation, ability to plan, manage, and take accountability for your own as well as the team’s workload, •Strong communication skills and confidence to manage different communication styles, •Proactivity and flexibility – the ability to spot potential inefficiencies or risk and act to improve/mitigate as appropriate, •High levels of resilience, problem-solving skills, self-awareness, adaptability and emotional intelligence, •Fluency in English, •Right to work in the UK.
