Organisation Summary

One Acre Fund, established in 2006, is focused on enhancing the productivity of 5.5 million smallholder farmers. With a diverse team of over 8,000 members operating in six core African countries, our objective is to elevate farmers' prosperity by providing them with quality farm supplies on credit, delivering these supplies near their homes, and providing agricultural training. Farmers we support typically see a 50% increase in food production.

Role Summary

  • Lead the Nigeria Supply Chain team, which delivers high-quality, life-changing farm inputs to farmers.
  • Manage a supply chain that is agile and continuously improving to accommodate dynamic macro-economic conditions and the realities of rural farmers.
  • Oversee the processes and teams supporting deliveries for all our programs and projects.

Role Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain management and implementation.
  • Skills in data analysis, negotiation, collaboration, and people management.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Experience in project planning, management, and execution.

The Role: You will lead the Nigeria Supply Chain team, which is responsible for delivering high-quality, life-changing inputs to our farmers efficiently. Given the dynamic macro-economic conditions and the realities of rural farmers, our supply chain needs to be agile and continuously improving. You will manage the processes and the team supporting deliveries for all our programs and projects.

Job Requirements: - Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management or related fields - 3+ years experience in supply chain management and implementation - Skills in data analysis, negotiation, collaboration, and people management - Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets - Experience in project planning, management, and execution
