Volunteer Act4Africa's UK focused Social Media Volunteer

What will you be doing?

• Craft and share compelling content across our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) that highlights our work.   • Engage with our followers through comments, messages, and interactive content. • Stay up to date with UK based challenge and dance events news and trends to ensure our content is relevant and engaging. • Collaborate with our team to brainstorm innovative social media strategies and campaigns. • Represent Act4Africa’s mission with enthusiasm and authenticity.

What are we looking for?

• Be passionate and knowledgeable about the sports, challenge events in particular (marathons, half marathons, long distance hikes). • Excellent copy writing skills with strong attention to detail. • Creative and innovative thinker, with a knack for storytelling. • Ability to use a range of digital design tools including Canva, to communicate through a range of mediums from reels to infographics to static posts. • Familiarity with social media trends and analytics. • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Be Over 18.

What difference will you make?

You will help Act4Africa gain more exposure, as well as improve our social media channels, even though we are small charity we have a very loyal donor base, however one of our greatest challenges recently is to attract new supporters, we hope that by joining Act4Africa as our UK focused Social Media volunteer, you will assist us with enhancing our teams skills, help us with our existing supporters journey as well as help us reach new audiences.
