Volunteer Marketing Expert

What will you be doing?

Our social enterprise delivers a remote self-employment service to people who have convictions and the long-term unemployed.. We are looking for an experienced marketer to work with us as we grow rapidly from a small organisation to one which could become a market-leader We would like the volunteer to: 

Create a marketing strategy for us across various platforms Update all of our marketing materials - create new posters and leaflets and give advice on our website Create blogs and other marketing material that we can share across our social media channels Support the CEO and Head of Enterprise and Business in maximising their LinkedIn reach (possibly) Advise us on how to create compelling videos, short films etc to promote our work (possibly) Help us create some podcasts

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a volunteer who has experience 

Writing and editing marketing content Building strategies to increase social media following  Developing a coherent brand voice for social media, from content creation to community interactions Using videos/film making to promote an organisation's activities

The volunteer should also have/be

Accuracy and attention to detail  Ability to quickly understand the needs of our team / organisation / users Can ask key questions to enable us to clarify requirements Understands the resource constraints of a small social enterprise and is able to work with these.

What difference will you make?

Your input will shape how we present ourselves to our service users, stakeholders, funders and general public. With your help we will be able to continue to promote self-employment as a viable route into employment for people with convictions and the long-term unemployed. We are a relatively small, young, energetic team with so much passion for what we do - we just need your help to take us to the next level.
