We are currently recruiting an  Audio Editor to support a variety of content marketing tasks related to the social enterprise’s current projects. We are looking for an individual who is passionate, hands-on and can multi-task.

What will you be doing?

As a Audio Editor within the organisation you will be required to:

Creating and editing audio for video and podcasts. Synchronising music to video content. Creating and compiling soundtracks. Editing sound effects and music according to the director's vision. Knowledge of recording techniques will be an advantage in assisting and  editing VO sessions.

Our Audio Editor will work with the rest of the content and digital teams as well as the administration team. The hours and days for this role are flexible.

What are we looking for?

Experience 

 Liaise with the editing team to assist with assembly and audio prep for offline.  Source audio materials from location recordings  Manage and maintain SFX libraries  Prepare Assets for audio editing (Reference Videos, AAFs & Music/SFX)  Import and prep audio session into DAW  Preparation of track-layout and sound design  Basic audio editing - Dialogue, Narration, Sound Effects  Exporting of final projects  Prep VO studio for recording, cueing system and test  Loudness mastering  Backup and catalogue DAW sessions

Key Skills

Proficient in industry-standard audio editing software for precise sound manipulation. Skilled in enhancing audio quality and removing imperfections. Capable of crafting and integrating sound effects and music for diverse content. Knowledgeable about various audio formats and their optimal use. Familiar with audio equipment and digital workstations. Attentive to detail, ensuring high-quality, flawless audio. Adept at multitasking and meeting deadlines efficiently. Strong communication and collaboration skills with clients and teams. Effective problem-solving abilities for technical challenges. Adaptable to evolving technologies and industry trends.
