Role Summary:
- Drive the financial strategy to ensure Self Space’s sustainable growth.

Role Requirements:
- Experience in nurturing early-stage business growth.
- Accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA) required.
- Proven finance expertise with national and international scope.
- Prior role within startup environments, preferably in workplace wellbeing or mental health.
- Engagement in Series A to C fundraising processes.
- Data-driven analysis skills for operational and strategic assessments.
- Strong internal and external relationship-building abilities.

The role - As the Head of Commercial Finance at Self Space, you’ll play a really important role in driving our financial strategy and making sure we’re a sustainable, growing business. You’ll work closely with the founders, leadership and operations to build a financially healthy Self Space, capable of expanding access to therapy and mental health support across both B2B and B2C audiences on a large scale. The role involves a combination of overseeing day-to-day financial ops, providing strategic insights through data analysis and supporting us with funding activities.
Job requirements - We’re looking for someone who played a part in the successful growth of early stage businesses. You should have an accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA), extensive finance experience with national and international exposure, experience in similar roles within startup environments (workplace wellbeing and mental health a bonus), involvement in Series A to C fundraising processes, a data-driven mindset with the ability to independently analyse operational and strategic plans, and strong relationship-building skills both internally and externally.
