Movember, a leading charity changing the face of men’s health, is on the lookout for a dedicated Program Manager for Young Men’s Mental Health to join their Toronto team. This is a chance to make a significant impact on men’s health issues, including mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer, on a global scale.

  • Lead the strategic development and implementation of mental health programs targeted at young men in Canada.
  • Establish and nurture partnerships with sports and community mental health organizations.
  • Collaborate closely with the North America Director, YMH to align with the market strategy.
  • Utilize your expertise in mental health to spur innovation and inform program design.
  • A tertiary level education or qualifications in mental health, social work, sports psychology, youth counselling, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successful project and program management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of young men’s health issues and the mental health sector.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive, self-motivated approach.

Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health globally, tackling mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. We are seeking a passionate Program Manager, Young Men’s Mental Health to join our Toronto based team. In this exciting new role, you’ll have the opportunity to work with partners across Canada and colleagues globally as you take on responsibility for managing Movember’s young men’s mental health initiatives in Canada.

The role involves overseeing the development of strategic, implementation and delivery partnerships to support delivery of mental health programs for young men in Canada. You will build key relationships and collaborate with partners in Sport and community mental health organisations. You will also work with the North America Director, YMH to develop and deliver the programs within our market strategy. You will leverage your mental health experience to identify opportunities, build strong relationships with mental health and sport-based organisations, and inform program design.

Job requirements include tertiary level education or occupational qualifications in relevant field(s) of mental health such as youth mental health and wellbeing, social work, sports psychology, youth counselling. You should have demonstrated experience of successful project and program management, a sound understanding of young men’s health issues and the mental health sector, and strong problem-solving skills with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative.
