What will you be doing?
As a volunteer for young Women in STEM Careers, your primary role is to promote our STEM programs within the community.This role will involve engaging with schools, community centres, libraries and other organisations to raise awareness, recruit participants, and foster partnerships. You will also assist with documentation, reporting and evaluation of programs.You will engage with students through mentorship activities, both one-on-one and in group settings online and face-2-face. In addition to your duties, you are expected to share information about STEM education initiatives on social media platforms and also act as an advocate for STEM education in your community, encouraging participation and support.
What are we looking for?
Effective communication skills Strong content knowledge in Stem Education Adaptability and innovation Experience with working with Young People Collaboration and teamwork Possession of a valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or willingness to undergo the process.
