What will you be doing?

Music for All seeks dynamic individuals to join our fabulous board of trustees! If you have a passion for music and/or helping disadvantaged people across the UK, we would love to hear from you. Our trustees support the charity in achieving its mission and ambitions as well as holding responsibility for its strategic direction and developing the next phase of growth. We are looking to recruit enthusiastic individuals to bring a mix of skills, expert knowledge, networks and experience, with capacity to work with other trustees and the office team.  We are looking for trustees with the below skillsets: Finance - overseeing the charity's accounts, banking, salaries/payments, annual budgets and insurance, and leading the Finance & Risk committee. A formal accounting qualification and experience with online accounting systems are required; experience in a commercial environment is desirable. There will be an extended handover period with the outgoing finance trustee. Fundraising - helping the board to identify fundraising opportunities and sharpen the focus of Music for All’s developmental growth, as well as supporting the realisation of key fundraising opportunities. Lived-experience - broadening the perspective of the board, helping it provide access to music making, a sense of belonging and sustainable participation to all communities in an authentic way, including ‘hard to reach’ and ‘at risk’ groups, those in healthcare and education settings, and those from disabled,disadvantaged or marginalised communities. Commercial - including in the music technology industry, developing the board’s sector-specific knowledge and providing expertise in scaling-up and partnerships.

What are we looking for?
