  • Partnership with executive directors to support strategic decision making
  • Enhancement of information flow and operational analysis for improved foresight
  • Revenue forecasting and monthly board reporting
  • Investment analysis and business case development
  • Portfolio management and cost control initiatives
  • Standardized, automated reporting for better accuracy and efficiency
  • Design and monitoring of KPIs to drive performance and profitability
  • Collaboration on action plans and execution
  • Contributions to M&A activities and other special projects as needed
  • Must be a qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or part-qualified with relevant experience
  • Experience with analytical tools like SQL, Tableau, and PowerBI
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience managing large data sets
  • Proven background in analytical, accounting, or finance roles
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present financial data clearly
  • Proactive, organized, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in high-growth or Private Equity linked businesses is a plus

THE ROLE

Climate Impact Partners, a leading provider of high quality carbon credit programmes is looking for an FP&A Manager to join our Finance team. Reporting to Group FP&A Director, you will partner closely with the executive directors and department management supporting commercial and strategic decision making, by improving the flow of information, analysing operational efficiency and improving commercial foresight. You will be a proactive, motivated and forward-thinking analyst, capable of using their own initiative to help continuously improve processes, efficiency and management insight.

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Business partner to the directors of our project financing & supply chain departments
  • Overseeing delivery-driven Revenue forecasting
  • Monthly group board reporting
  • Investment and business case modelling
  • Portfolio reporting and cost management
  • Drive accuracy, visibility and timeliness of reporting through the implementation of standardised reporting and automation
  • Designing and monitoring of effective KPIs to optimise performance & profitability
  • Support action planning and execution
  • Ad-hoc projects, business analysis & support M&A activities

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


  • A qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA), part-qualified will be considered depending on experience
  • Proven experience with advanced analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, and PowerBI
  • An advanced user of Excel and capable of managing large data sets
  • Progressive experience in a senior analytical, accounting or finance business partnering role,
  • Experience in dealing with senior stakeholders and ability to build strong relationships
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and written and verbal communication capabilities
  • Ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial people
  • Proactiveness and someone highly organised
  • Prior experience in a fast paced, high-growth or Private Equity linked environment preferred
