  • Proven ability in mentoring and coaching new teachers within an ITT route.

The role of Development Lead - Early Years and Primary is part of the Delivery department which delivers Teach First's programmes across all areas of England. We support, teach and develop programme members, trainee teachers their mentors via the delivery of teacher development and leadership programmes. This role requires expertise in Early Years & Primary education, and teacher education. You will bring design and delivery of our Early Years and Primary programme together. You'll be part of the delivery team but also work closely the Design team to design the programmes and ensure programme delivery quality and fidelity.

Job requirements include QTS and experience as a school leader, excellent phase knowledge (Primary or Early Years), understanding of outstanding classroom pedagogy, knowledge of the Teachers' Standards and Core Content Framework, and experience in developing, mentoring and coaching inexperienced teachers within an ITT (Initial Teacher Training) route for at least two years.
