You will also participate in on-site visits (as necessary) to gain firsthand insights and ensure project alignment with operational realities.

Main tasks & responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the technical, financial, and administrative aspects of ST projects within the LatAm pipeline, ensuring the completion of all project cycle steps, from due diligence to commercial agreement, listing, validation, verification, emission, and commercialization.

  • Implement financial and budget planning, fieldwork logistics, resource scheduling, communication strategies, risk analysis, and quality protocols to develop ST projects.
  • Oversee compliance with commitments to partners associated with ongoing ST projects, while monitoring progress and adhering to schedules.
  • Support and coordinate with the commercial team in the technical assessment and business development of leads and opportunities brought into the pipeline as well as support in the development of consultancy proposals and deliverables.
  • Proactively identify and report risks related to technical, social, and financial aspects of the ST projects to the Technical head offering feasible solutions promptly.

  • Assist Technical head in preparing reports, presentations, and strategic documents.
  • Act as a key point of contact in managing project partners, nurturing relationships, and maximizing value from opportunities.
  • Managing invoices for approval and payment on time.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to emission reduction and carbon market projects.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to address project challenges and drive innovation.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the climate project teams, encouraging knowledge sharing and skill enhancement. Including these responsibilities can help ensure a comprehensive overview of your role.
