Volunteer Bid Writer/Fundraiser

What will you be doing?

We are seeking a talented and driven Bid Writer to join our team and play a pivotal role in securing grants and funding opportunities to support our charitable endeavors. The Bid Writer will be responsible for researching, preparing, and submitting high-quality grant applications to various funders, with a focus on securing funding for charities and community projects.This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the community by securing vital funding for our charitable initiatives.

What are we looking for?

Proven experience in grant writing, preferably within the nonprofit sector, with a successful track record of securing funding from diverse sources. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and persuasive proposals. Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from various sources. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge of BAME issues, social justice, and community development is desirable.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software/tools.
