Role Summary:Report to the Legal Director and take charge of scoping, developing, and managing legal cases and projects.Collaborate with the team to craft successful campaigns that make a real difference.Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid working model, with a minimum 2/3 days a week in our central London office.

Role Requirements:A qualified solicitor or barrister in England and Wales, whether practising or not.Experience in civil litigation and the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.A passion for social change and the power of law as a tool for achieving it.Dedication to the vision and values of Good Law Project.Expertise in strategic litigation or legal campaigning.Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team.

The role entails reporting to the Legal Director with day-to-day responsibility for scoping, developing and running Good Law Project’s legal cases and projects and for working with the team to build successful campaigns.

Job requirements include qualification as a solicitor or barrister in England and Wales (practising or not practising), civil litigation experience with the ability to manage multiple projects at once, interest in social change and how the law can be used to deliver it, commitment to Good Law Project’s vision of what a better world looks like, understanding of strategic litigation and/or using the law as a campaign tool, and experience of leading and managing junior members of staff.

The role is a full time permanent role, with hybrid working options and the expectation to attend our central London office regularly – minimum of 2/3 days a week.
