Volunteer Content writer and editor

What will you be doing?

In the last few years, Reach Volunteering's vision and values have expanded, and we have created new house style and tone of voice guidance. We now need to review all the content on our website, and redevelop it to reflect this guidance, as well as the needs of our many audiences.

What are we looking for?

Great writing skills  Experience editing existing content to improve accessibility and content design  Experience working with Tone of Voice guidance  Experience working with house style documentation  A good understanding of content design principles A good understanding of how to make digital content accessible. 

What difference will you make?

As a content writer and editor, you will work with our Head of Digital to ensure Reach Volunteering's users find our new platform easy to use. You'll also help us inspire volunteers and organisations to get excited about the value of skills-based volunteering.  This role is open to be shaped by you and your level of experience. However, as a minimum we are looking for someone to help us: 

reviewing existing content and make changes to improve content design, accessibility and Tone of Voice create a small amount of new content for Reach's primary landing pages  help manage sign off, so the right people at Reach see the right things.
