  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform.
  • Strong communication in English, additional languages valued.
  • Experience in automated testing, CI/CD, web security, and problem-solving.
  • Desirable: Experience in start-up environments, microservices architecture, agile methodologies, Copilot, and Dual-write.

Job summary:

Are you passionate about driving South Pole's technological innovation to accelerate climate impact and facilitate organizational growth? 

We are seeking a Lead in ERP (Microsoft Dynamics) to oversee the reliability, scalability, and advancement of our technology platforms, leading our tech teams in spearheading innovation to enhance our current and future products and services. 

In this role as Lead in ERP, you will play a critical role in leveraging Microsoft Dynamics ERP to support South Pole's key business objectives and drive transformative initiatives.

Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Technology within the broader Enterprise Technology team, your primary focus will be on developing and customizing a core ERP solution tailored specifically for South Pole. 

This position presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to technological enhancements while making a meaningful impact on climate initiatives. 

Main responsibilities:

Lead senior technical members of your product team, contributing to the ongoing development of the product through incremental delivery (agile) methods. 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions that meet business requirements, are highly scalable, robust, secure, maintainable, and provide an excellent user experience. 

Liaise with various business teams to understand requirements and translate them into user stories to address key business challenges. 

Support both ongoing activities and larger transformational projects within the Dynamics Finance and Operations (F&O) and Customer Engagement (CE) framework. 

Map and model sales and marketing processes to optimize utilization of Dynamics F&O and CE. 

Drive continuous improvement of South Pole's Dynamics F&O and CE usage while supporting significant transformation initiatives. 

Configure the system using process builder, workflows, validation rules, custom settings, and Dynamics formula language. 

Proactively update and enhance knowledge of Dynamics F&O and CE, analyze new releases, and guide platform strategy. 

Develop technical design and implementation documents for Dynamics F&O and CE solutions. 

Recognize dependencies on other systems and collaborate effectively with technology teams to ensure solution alignment. 

Conduct quality assurance (QA) testing of development items before deployment. Provide demos and light training for users of Dynamics F&O and CE. 

Support the implementation of a user group model to champion Dynamics F&O and CE usage within the organization. 

Profile Requirements:

Required - 

●Master's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
●5+ years of experience in using Microsoft Dynamics Products and Power Platform, with a strong focus on Finance and Operations.
●Excellent oral and written skills in English, other language skills highly valued.
●Experience with writing automated tests and implementing continuous integration and delivery.
●Strong understanding of web security and best practices.
●Diligent, reliable and proactive.
●Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
●A strong desire to continually develop new and up-to-date skills that bring value to South Pole’s technology roadmap.

Desired - 

●Practical experience in a start-up/scale-up environment.
●Experience with microservices architecture (e.g. Kubernetes).
●Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
●Experience using Copilot
●Experience with Dual-write
