Role Summary

  • Join our Financial Planning & Analysis team as an Assistant Management Accountant for a six-month fixed-term contract
  • Help our finance team with monthly cost reporting and forecasting, and prepare budget variances and forecasts for different directorates
  • Communicate these findings effectively to non-finance stakeholders

Our team of specialist social workers focuses on removing barriers, solving problems, and ensuring the wellbeing of affected young ones, advocating for their needs to provide timely and appropriate care and support.

About the role: We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Management Accountant to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team for a six-month fixed-term contract. This role is crucial during our current phase of optimizing the new Finance system implemented last October. The successful candidate will assist the Finance Business Partners with accurate monthly cost reporting and forecasting, which includes preparing budget variances and forecasts for different directorates and explaining these to non-finance stakeholders.

Job requirements: Applicants should have robust management accounting experience, including skills in preparing cost reports and forecasts. Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications is essential, along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with non-finance managers.
