The role: You will manage day-to-day farming and conservation operations, ensuring alignment with our sustainable, low-input, and biodiversity-enhancing ethos. Key responsibilities include managing the grazing plan, implementing ecological objectives, maintaining livestock health and welfare, and keeping the farm in excellent condition. This role is vital in delivering impactful conservation grazing and habitat enhancement.
Job requirements: The ideal candidate will be an organized, open-minded, and passionate individual with strong nature conservation knowledge and practical farming skills. Essential skills include high-level knowledge in cattle and sheep husbandry, understanding of grazing as a management tool, and competence in farm machinery operation and maintenance. A full driving license is essential, and additional qualifications like ATV and Tractor tickets are desirable.
