The role: We are currently seeking a Freelance Campaign Manager to join our team. This position is crucial as we face a pivotal year with significant opportunities to influence water policy through the upcoming Water Reform Bill and other regulatory reviews. The successful candidate will lead the project management and execution of our campaigns, focusing on issues like sewage pollution. This role involves close collaboration with our Campaigns, Policy, and Advocacy team, and requires managing multiple project teams in a fast-paced environment. You will also be responsible for creating campaign materials and toolkits, engaging with external stakeholders, and ensuring our messages reach a wide audience through various media channels.
Job requirements: Candidates should have robust experience in public mobilisation and advocacy campaigns, excellent project management skills, and the ability to handle both strategic oversight and day-to-day campaign operations. Experience with issues related to sewage pollution and water systems is desirable but not essential. A full, clean UK driving licence is required as the role involves travel within the UK, including occasional overnight stays.
Benefits: This position offers the flexibility of working from our Cornwall office with a minimum requirement of two days per week, but remote working arrangements can be considered. Both full-time and part-time availabilities are considered for a contract duration of 3 to 6 months.
