Role Summary
- Manage and implement material sourcing and value chain strategy.
- Oversee Asia toolbox and material vendors to provide innovative and fit-for-purpose materials solutions.

- Assist in the execution of long-term sourcing, manage toolboxes, negotiate with material suppliers and ensure supply chain transparency.
Role Requirements
- Proven international material sourcing experience and comprehensive knowledge of textiles and performance fabrics.
- Experience with leather and understanding of skin grading and cutting coefficients.
- Passionate about infusing sustainability and innovation into supply chains and products.
- Adept at managing critical paths and calendars to ensure timely deliveries.
- Strategic leadership skills, with the ability to mentor team members.

The role: As a Materials Manager at Vivobarefoot, you will be responsible for implementing and managing our material sourcing and value chain strategy. This includes managing our Asia toolbox and material vendors to deliver regenerative, fit for purpose, and innovative materials solutions. Your efforts will drive business growth by balancing innovation, cost, quality, agility, compliance, and sustainability. Key responsibilities include assisting in the implementation of long-term sourcing strategies, managing material toolboxes, selecting and negotiating with material suppliers, and ensuring full supply chain transparency.
Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have in-depth international material sourcing experience and excellent knowledge of textiles and performance fabrics, including polyester + RPET, nylon, cotton + wool, and engineered knits. Experience with leather and an understanding of skin grading and cutting coefficients are also important. You should be passionate about integrating sustainability and innovation into products and supply chains, and be adept at managing critical paths and calendars to ensure timely deliveries. Strategic leadership and the ability to mentor team members are also crucial.
